As an avid cinema fan, it's one of my New Year's resolutions to try to see more films on the big screen, as i seemed to miss out on so many last year.
So one of the first films of 2007 (actually my third so far) is "London to Brighton", a superb urban thriller which i saw at the weekend. Released back in December, it's not on general release anymore, but i managed to catch it at a superb repertory cinema in London.
i have to say it was a brilliant film with a great storyline that unfolds in flashbacks to the events of the night before. It really does hold you, becoming increasingly brutal towards the end. It centres on two girls on the run, fearing for their lives, with the next 24 hours against them...
If you get to see it, let me know what you think!
